Current Issue
This issue brings together research that addresses human well-being from a comprehensive perspective. Collectively, the studies highlight the central role of the family as both a protective and a risk factor for a variety of individual and social outcomes. The articles examine the relationships between family functioning and antisocial and delinquent behaviors among students, as well as the contribution of parenting practices and spiritual health to the psychological well-being of Mexican adolescents. In addition, factors associated with well-being and mental health in educational and occupational settings are explored, including sleep quality, daytime sleepiness, anxiety, depression, and the interaction between family and professional responsibilities among university faculty members.
Complementing this perspective, the issue presents a psychoeducational intervention designed for young women with breast cancer, focusing on processes of loss, adaptation, and the development of hope. In this way, the issue provides relevant scientific evidence on the factors that promote psychological health, well-being, and resilience across different stages and contexts of life, offering valuable insights for research, clinical practice, education, and the strengthening of families and communities.
